In short
mivochart only stores on your device what the service needs to work: keeping you signed in, remembering your language, theme and cookie choice, and keeping charts that are not saved to an account yet. These are strictly necessary, so the law does not require your consent for them (Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive and national laws such as § 25(2) TDDDG in Germany).
We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party scripts run on our pages. You can review your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
What is stored on your device
Cookies are small text files your browser sends back to the website. Browser storage (local storage, session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab, and the browser database, IndexedDB) stays on your device and is read only by our pages in your browser. Everything mivochart stores is listed here. Items marked “only when …” exist only while you use that feature.

Third parties you visit through mivochart
Some steps take you to another company's page, which then applies its own cookies and privacy policy: payment happens on Stripe's checkout page (Stripe uses cookies there, for example to prevent fraud), and sign-in with Google happens on Google's page. If a chart uses a link to a photo hosted on another website, your browser loads the photo from that website. Fonts are served by us; your browser does not contact Google Fonts.
Analytics: planned, not active
We do not run analytics today. We plan to use PostHog (EU cloud) to understand how mivochart is used. If we switch it on, the cookie banner will ask for your consent first, with “Accept all” and “Reject all” offered equally, nothing will load before you agree, and we will add it to the table above.
Your choices
Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page to see and change your choice at any time. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; you will then be signed out, and charts kept only in your browser will be deleted.
